About the role
You will manage a wide variety of issues affecting all aspects of fleet Navy and/or joint policy. You will provide management, technical, and administrative support to the Director of Maritime Operations. You will coordinate all work and resolve technical problems and conflicts that arise. You will develop and maintain fleet policies by ensuring policies are properly responsive to higher directives. You will prepare policy directives to subordinate commands. You will serve as a Primary Review Authority (PRA) for joint doctrine publications designated for U.S. Navy lead, and for U.S. Navy doctrine publications designated for U.S. Fleet Forces lead. You will serve as the primary Strategy and Policy Division point of contact for Planning, Programming Budget Execution (PPBE). You will review and track the Divisional annual budget, annual travel budget and the divisional manning document. You will assume the responsibilities of the Contracting Officer's Representative. (COR)
