About the role
Serves as the Administrative Officer and provides on-going direction, guidance, support, and communication on a variety of management services essential to the general management of the Area Office. Collaborates with heads of other units to negotiate, decide on, and coordinate work-related changes affecting other organizations. Provides substantial management advisory services on assigned programs. Manages supervisors and direct reports in support services activities. Formulates and establishes work plans, schedules, and changes in methods and procedures for subordinate organizational elements and employees. Reviews employee performance, approves leave, resolves disciplinary/performance issues, and develops training plans. Develops immediate and long-range program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones for assigned administrative functions for the LCDO.
