COST ESTIMATOR

You will serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing scientific, technical, and professional cost guidance on all aspects of acquisition programs. You will review and assess overall acquisition program progress and develop cost estimates and analysis based on planned technical and schedule parameters. You will ensure all cost analysis is based on current program information, liaising with engineers, Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads, and contractor representatives. You will prepare and defend program plans to develop funding requirements and life cycle cost profiles, and track and manage financial performance for assigned programs. You will assemble and provide information and advice regarding assigned program areas to senior officials in the chain-of command. You will maintain technical expertise through continuing professional education and training, symposiums, and liaison with other appropriate Navy and DOD activities.
