About the role
As an Acquisition Management Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Serve as the Senior Acquisition Management Specialist, working as a liaison with the Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), and within the organization, performing a variety of procurement and acquisition functions. Lead, conduct or participate in developing an acquisition strategy that identifies the acquisition approach, including cost and risks, meeting program objectives, and addressing obsolescence, supportability and technology refresh during the system or program life cycle. Analyze, develop, and evaluate detailed plans, goals, and objectives for short and long-range implementation of assigned operations and programs. Define project scope, unique requirements, milestones, establish deliverables, set priorities, and coordinate and integrate program or project activities.
