Program Support Specialist (Graduate Medical Education)

Analyzes program content, develops, plans and sets milestones to determine consistency with semi-annual, annual and long-range objectives. Establish and maintains accurate and complete records concerning trainee education as required by the ACGME/RC. Ensure GME programs are compliant Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Institutional and program-specific Review Committee (RC) requirements. Analyze program content and develop both short and long-term plans. Represent Program Director(s) of the GME Program(s) at meetings attended by representatives of the Sponsoring Institutions, DHA GME, DoD agencies. Interpret regulations, policies, guidance, and course directives. Devise time-phased strategic and/or operational support plans for the planning and coordination of GME program objectives. Compose correspondence and reports, prepares memoranda, agendas, schedules, contract, and course materials for all trainees and medical students.
