About the role
You will coordinate with other first-line supervisors in the division to ensure proper radiological coverage in all assigned areas. You will provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring to junior Radiological Control Technicians (RCT) at their worksites and develop them to their full potential. You will plan work, set priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work, and assign work to subordinates. You will approve and disapprove leave, certify timecards, establish performance standards and evaluates performance of employees. You will provide on-scene radiological control responses for actual or potential radiological emergencies. You will act as the radiological control representative on teams that include Production supervisors and technical code representatives at different levels. You will prepare or direct the preparation of all reports and other required radiological control documents related to work assignments.
