Public Notice - Information Technology Specialist (Direct Hire)

Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee. Perform administration of servers, operational workstations, virtual machines, and network devices supporting facility operations. Implement and track cybersecurity compliance activities. Troubleshoot IT and facility system connectivity issues Manage configuration baselines, inventories, and documentation for systems supporting test operations. Coordinate IT work with Unitary Plan Wind Tunnel, the Arc Jet Complex, the Vertical Motion Simulator, FutureFlight Central, and other thermal/fluids/flight management operations teams and contractors to ensure minimal interruption to test campaigns.
