IT Modernization Analyst

As a IT Modernization Analyst, you will: Regularly analyze the use of Information Technology Modernization Initiative funds, to ensure they are being used effectively and to identify any potential issues. Track agency spending and forecast for the long-range implementation of Information Technology Modernization Initiatives. Develop policies and guidelines for productivity programs, plans, and/or procedures as an agency expert. Advise the Bureau of Information Services (BIS) senior management, CIO, and various officials on the financial management of the bureau's budget. Provide budgetary data to BIS management and Office of Administration-Acquisition Management regarding IT vendors by examining financial arrangements and reviewing cost studies to determine the most advantageous terms. Personally develop or oversee the development of detailed justifications for budget requests and object class expenses.
