SECURITY SPECIALIST

DUTIES DUTY 1: Critical Directs and manages the MAJCOM SCI Personnel Security Program. Ensures secure accomplishment of the enterprise's missions, goals and objectives through proactive application of security principles, policies, and practices. Provides expertise and technical guidance to the MAJCOM Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO), MAJCOM staff, Chief, Special Security Office (SSO), subordinate commands and field units, and DoD defense contractors. Responsible for implementation of applicable Executive Orders, National Security Directives, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), DoD manuals and directives, and Air Force Instructions and Manuals (AFIs/AFMANs) governing eligibility for and protection of SCI. DUTY 2: Manages the Security Information Files (SIF) Program actions for all SCI indoctrinated personnel under the purview of the MAJCOM SSO; serves as MAJCOM SCI Scattered Castle and Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) account manager; oversees the Special Purpose Acces
