About the role
This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Capitol Building, Assistant Superintendent, Capitol and Capitol Visitor Center, Operations and Maintenance Division, Maintenance Branch, Electrical Section, Evening/Night Electrical Unit Branch. The incumbent is the Electrician Leader for the Branch. Tour of Duty: Do you prefer Day Shift (5:00am - 1:30pm) Evening Shift (1:00 pm - 9:30pm) or Night Shift (9:00pm - 5:30am)---If you would like to be considered for more than one shift, please list the shift in order of preference in your work history/resume. This position is essential. The employee is required to report to work during emergencies and inclement weather situations. The tour of duty may include holidays and weekends on a regular or recurring basis. Rotating shift work may also be required at Management's discretion.
