Budget Analyst

Perform a variety of budgetary and administrative functions in implementing the organization's budgetary programs, policies, and procedures. Develop and formulate the segment of Tripler Army Medical Center’s (TAMC) budget request for the upcoming fiscal year. Perform analysis of budget requests by using comparative historical data exported from the General Fund Business Enterprise System (GFEBS) to make informed decisions and recommendations. Monitor the use and rate of expenditure of budgeted funds through ongoing dialogue with TAMC department chiefs, review of electronic financial documents, and examination of accounting records. Assist the Budget Officer in preparing briefings and in mentoring and coaching junior team members in their daily budget execution functions. Maintain a proper fund control program by adhering to and tracking all assigned allotments and annual funding programs for assigned accounts.
