CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will negotiate contracts supporting the TRIDENT II Sub Launched Ballistic Missile Program, Nuclear Weapons Security, You will be responsible for all phases of the procurement and acquisition cycles, including pre-planning, pre-award and pre-negotiation activities, all functions leading up to contract execution You will be responsible for all actions within his/her prescribed area and is rarely given specific direction in his/her work except for professional projects. You will determine the approaches and methods to be used in carrying out assignments, including overall design of plans and strategies for the projects to meet goals and objectives, requirements and time frames. You will serve as the primary procurement advisor to the Branch Head of the Technical Branch in which the acquisitions under his/her cognizance originate.
