TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will provide oversight, management and 24/7 response coverage in support of a transportation program involving procuring carriers and transportation services to move explosives and hazardous materials. You will perform staff analytical work to develop, plan, evaluate, and advise on traffic management policies and programs. You will provide advisory services to operating program managers on transportation program requirements, capabilities, policies, and procedures. You will survey and evaluate transportation program operations to assess compliance with applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and sound management practices. You will conduct special studies and work on projects in a specific functional area for the general development, application, and impact of traffic management programs, policies, and operations. You will coordinate and liaises with internal and external customers across a broad spectrum of government employees, military members, consultants, contractors, ot
