About the role
You will serve as the lead environmental program manager for the cleanup of an installation with the responsibility for developing and implementing the cleanup strategies related to closure in an expeditious and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for reviewing the environmental cleanup programs, implementing necessary cleanup actions, and identifying cleanup acceleration opportunities to expedite conveyance of real property. You will serve as the DON spokesperson on all matters related to the environmental cleanup programs, including serving as the DON Co-chairperson on the Restoration Advisory Board (RAB). You will conduct a broad range of community relations programs designed to inform the public about the Navy and Marine Corps environmental cleanup programs and it’s impact.
