About the role
You will lead the electrical design, review, or analysis of electrical power and distribution systems on navy installations. You will lead small groups of engineers and technicians to provide technical recommendations of electrical power issues to the team lead and division director. You will prepare business briefings for presentations to senior leadership. You will prepare electrical one-lines, graphs, charts to explain engineering solutions and project management to effectively execute research and development (R/D) and engineering projects. You will outline objectives, budget, tasks, schedules, staffing needs, and deliverables in the execution of projects and/or program management. You will draft R/D proposals and/or Statement of Work for customers to offer engineering solutions/services to obtain project funding. You will serve as principal investigator of Program Manger on R/D or engineering services projects as needed.
