Social Science Research Analyst (Evaluation)

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Support the evaluation planning process by updating the learning agenda and annual evaluation plan to identify and set priorities for evaluations. Design studies, including formulating research, evaluation, or analysis questions, project objectives, hypotheses, data collection and measurement (qualitative and quantitative) strategies, and rigorous approaches for testing hypotheses. Coordinate with and provide support and assistance on design, conduct, interpretation, and use of research/evaluation, performance management, and analyses to Fiscal Service, its business areas, Treasury, and other federal, state, and local entities.
