Acquisition Quality Assurance Service Center Director

Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: Serves as the principal procurement quality control advisor and consultant for the program office, ensuring acquisition management and staff remain apprised of and adhere to procurement policy and other guideline changes, including changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), GSA Acquisition Manual, and regulatory supplements as necessary. Stays current with new and emerging procurement issues, problems, and changes and prepares program office supplemental guidance. Researches and responds to new and updated federal, agency, and bureau guidelines (e.g., laws, regulations, policies). Participates in the development and establishment of comprehensive program office acquisition and contract management quality control policies and other guidelines to facilitate ensuring compliance with federal statutes and regulations.
