Duties of the Public Affairs Specialist position include, but are not limited to the following: Establishing and maintaining contacts with national, regional, and local media representatives. Creating dialogue-worthy content which solicits feedback and opinion from target audiences. Collaborating with colleagues in the Office of Communication to develop strategic communication plans concerning OSHA rules, enforcement, and compliance. Developing and implementing communications plans/strategies to increase Agency engagement.
