Supervisory Training Specialist

Serves as Deputy Chief Learning Officer, developing learning strategies and managing training programs for the DCAA to meet mission objectives. Responsible for the development, justification and execution of the DCAI training budget; directs and provides recommendations for allocating funds; assesses the work of contract employees and authorizes payments. Leads Agency subject matters experts, computer experts and subordinate instructors, course developers and support staff to refine and leverage best practice and industry standards in the design, development and delivery of training activities. Serves as an expert on training and doctrinal developments and implementing technology into training. Researches and develops methodologies to optimize the use of learning management systems, electronic libraries, databases, learning portals, and distance learning technologies.
