QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

Manages and executes agency Quality Assurance oversight programs throughout vendor contract life cycles. Oversees and periodically reviews contracts and related artifacts to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Quality Assurance provisions. Develops comprehensive government Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP) to monitor vendor Quality Management Systems (QMS). Provides guidance and representation for Program Management Office (PMO) and Contracting Officer (KO) in all quality assurance matters relating to products, supplies and services provided by vendor. Monitors vendor compliance to contractual requirements. Coordinates the efforts of the various quality elements in order to accomplish the Quality Assurance objectives in a timely manner.
