IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (NETWORK/INFOSEC)

Serves as a technical expert on Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network(WAN) infrastructure, architecture development, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure for both the classified and unclassified networks. As a program manager and/or technical expert, the incumbent serves as the focal point for network infrastructure administration, providing authoritative advice, operational guidance and program decision-making. Assures architecture development and information systems interface for implementation in order to take advantage of latest state-of-the-art network infrastructure. Develops policies and procedures for networks and system operations. Researches emerging technology and evaluates commercial software for the purpose of developing prototype network architectures. Directs the operation of other EMS tools such as the Asset Management Option (AMO), Software Delivery Option (SDO) and Remote-Control Option (RCO).
