About the role
Plans highly complex audits covering broadly related and highly complex functions of a large multi-mission activity and develops the audit program to be applied individually or by a team of auditors at various locations selected for review. Independently conducts audits of specific scope or participates as a team member on a large or highly complex audit. Prepares audit reports, special project results, or assists in writing complex audit reports, which present U.S. Special Operations Command-wide findings, causes, and effects and cite applicable regulations. Performs other assigned tasks and special projects. Incumbent is responsible to ensure the core classified national information protection security disciplines of information are fully covered from a policy and programmatic viewpoint to ensure overall information protection requirements meet mission requirements.
