MWR Deployed Forces Support (Supply Technician)

Responsible for directing the day-to-day property custody and control, not limited to receiving, checking, handling, storing physical control and distribution of NAF and APF property according to established procedures. Takes an active part in physical inventory of equipment or other materials, reconciling inventory or property record balances after completion of the inventory. Works with Regional Accounting Office and local facility managers for correction of routine discrepancies such as errors in recording stock or in properly identifying equipment. Maintains an accurate accounting and reporting system for non-expendable property. Conducts management studies on the utilization of property, reviews records and demand data for determination of property which has become obsolete or excess, offers recommendations for utilization of excess items, and locates surplus property that can be utilized. Has inventory management responsibility for items which are decentralized throughout the org
