DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES SPECIALIST

Inspects base warehouse activities. Ensures the care and preservation of supplies in storage according to Air Force, Department of Defense, and federal requirements. Inspects activities involved in receiving, examining, verifying, and identifying complex categories of materials and equipment, including hazardous materials (i.e., toxic, radioactive, perishable, classified materials, high valued equipment, precious/strategic metals, and complex electronic or mechanical equipment, assemblies, and components). Inspects complex disposal tasks, such as those required in dealing with reuse, salvage, and sales preparation of a wide variety of complex items and materials. Monitors special programs, computerized listings, and documentation/records. Monitors the Repair Cycle, Time Change, and Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) programs.
