Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within N12 District Office and are assigned based on the need of the agency. Plans, organizes, evaluates and improves staffing programs, services and processes, including but not limited to reviewing and advising management on candidate selections, strategies for recruiting candidates, and performing hiring actions. Oversees the allocation of funds in automated financial management system for expenses such as purchase card, travel, purchase orders and distribution of overtime allocations. Monitors operational activities and requirements within allocated budget levels, including general expenses, overtime, awards and other than permanent employment costs. Conducts projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency through appropriate staffing.
