About the role
You will serve as a Merchant Mariner Course Evaluator (Engine) and be responsible for serving as a maritime subject matter expert for "engine" related maritime operations, training and qualifications. The incumbent conducts analytical studies to ensure that the Coast Guard maintains a valid system of approved standards in competence, proficiency, examination, licensing, and documentation of merchant marine engine personnel, for officer and rating.
