Marine Inspector

You will serve as a/an Marine Inspector and be responsible for serving the civilian Outer Continental Shelf Division's source for continuity of previous inspection policies, technical issues, special program support activity and a primary inspection representative with the maritime industry responsible for commercial vessel safety; including administering the Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) security exams; new construction oversight and project management. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Serves as the resident source of continuity of inspection policies, technical issues, special program support activity, on-the-job training expertise, and new policy development.
