About the role
You will serve as a Supply Technician and be responsible for performing tasks in support of larger scale projects performed by higher-level Inventory Management Specialists. Assignments involve conducting searches for required information, reconstructing records for complex supply transactions, and providing supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique PBPL supplies, equipment and parts. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Conducting provisioning and pre procurement screening for preparing new item entries for stock number assignments. Preparing and controlling National Stock Number (NSN) Announcements. Assigning Activity Control Numbers (ACN). Screening incoming high priority requisitions to ensure transactions are free of errors or takes appropriate action to correct or reject requisitions.
