Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional The Staff Psychologist in Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP), serves in the Mental Health & Behavioral Sciences (MHBS) Service Line of the Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System (NAVAHCS). The incumbent plays a central role in the ongoing BHIP team consultation and coordination, to triage and distribute mental health consultation and treatment requests, including those made directly by Veterans. The major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinates of patient care within the BHIP, to maximize timely access to the most appropriate level of care to include Triage, disposition, and coordination of treatment referrals to BHIP from other MHBS programs, other departments across the facility, and from other VA's.
