About the role

If selected for this position, you will lead a team in the Criminal Investigations Unit for the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York that is responsible for planning, conducting and managing complex federal criminal investigations. Typical work assignments will include: Serves as first and second level supervisor. Supervising a team of investigators, which entails assigning work, providing guidance on complex investigations, approving leave requests, approving overtime, and resolving difficult or unusual problems. Representing the United States Attorney's Office at law enforcement conferences. Overseeing the planning and coordination of complex investigations in one or more of the following areas: national-security related offenses, fraud, bribery and public corruption, money laundering, violent crime and cyber-crime.
