Student Trainee (Operations Research)

As a Student Trainee (Operations Research), the incumbent will work under closer supervision performing assignments and completing training. At the full-performance level, you will be expected to: Assist analyst personnel with developing mathematical and/or statistical models, methodologies, and solutions. Assist in applying and extending new methods in the application of operations research, mathematics, statistics, and modeling and simulation. Assist in developing mathematical solutions; assist in conducting research on mathematical trends and patterns; and/or assisting in performing mathematical and/or statistical analysis. Assist in integrating artificial intelligence models into analytical tools to enhance simulation, data processing, and operational research capabilities. Prepare, assemble, compile, process and/or present, and maintain statistical data to provide input for management reports.
