About the role
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team in the Administrative Division that is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive financial management program for the U.S. Attorney's Office, Northern District of Georgia. Typical work assignments will include: Planning, formulating, justifying, implementing, and administering budget and financial management activities. Providing positive recommendations and alternative approaches to improve program plans, budget proposals, costs of operations, and program accomplishments. Preparing Operating Plan district budget estimates. Preparing budget justifications for recommended allocation levels, particularly deviations from initial office submissions. Planning work to be accomplished and setting priorities in financial management. Assigning work to others based on difficulty of assignments and staff capabilities. Reviewing work completed by others to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Providing technical advice and assistance
