About the role
If selected for this position, you will serve as the Secretary to the United States Attorney, providing a variety of technical and administrative support services. Typical work assignments will include: Exercises exclusive control over the U.S. Attorney's calendar for all appointments, meetings, engagements, and conferences with complete authority. Reads, screens and controls incoming mail. Screens telephone calls and visitors desiring to speak to the U.S. Attorney. Composes a variety of written material. Makes travel arrangements for the U.S. Attorney. Helps coordinates a variety of media events with, or on the behalf of the U.S. Attorney. Arranges conferences and meetings for the U.S. Attorney. Provides legal assistant support for cases handled by the U.S. Attorney Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
