About the role
Performs contract administration and project management of assigned programs and projects. Resolves technical matters of an engineering, construction, operation, and/or maintenance nature. Prepares scopes of work, specifications, and plans for maintenance and operational needs to include repairs, services, supplies, and construction requirements for Floating Plants such as a Dredge Potter, Pathfinder, and Grand Tower. Performs as a qualified Contracting Officer Representative (COR) responsible for the overall project planning of assigned projects. Coordinates, implements, and/or adapts equipment installation or services for the floating plant, facilities and locks at various project sites that involve lock site personnel, engineering representatives, contractors or others. Assists with preparation of the operation and maintenance annual budget. Coordinates meetings and communications with customers and stakeholders on navigation issues that affect the Upper and Lower Mississippi River
