About the role
Serves as a technical expert in developing strategies for acquisition of new contracts. Serves as a technical expert for the development and implementation of plans for contractor selection. Serves as a technical POC for the Project Delivery Team to brief the Chief of the Contracting Office. Develops Source Selection Plans for construction projects in conjunction with Project Managers and Contracting Officers in accordance with the Army Source Selection Manual and Federal Acquisition Regulations. Develops A-E scopes of work to procure A-E services for (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) IDIQ contracts and individual A--E selections that require A-E selection boards. Assists the chairs of A-E selection boards by preparing all information, performs debriefings, and makes recommendations to the Contracting Officer for award. Chairs Source Selection Evaluation Boards.
