INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER

You will provide special technical expertise and leadership in complex coordination and management of all contractor engineering and product assurance efforts. You will lead development efforts related to the Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) and missile, reentry and guidance subsystems. You will monitor and approve efforts dealing with acceptability, utilization and sustainment of hardware, support equipment and software including design and process changes. You will assure that configuration control of the weapons system is in compliance with the approved Configuration Management processes. You will implement program policy and engineering criteria and provides information to the prime contractor and Navy field activities. You will influence, lead, monitor, and approve contractor development efforts, system requirements, design and product quality assurance efforts in satisfying contractual requirements for various subsystems.
