Med Instr Tech (Polysomn)

The incumbent will perform Lead Technician functions which will include but is not limited to: Distribute and balance the workload among technicians that they will be leading, assure efficient, high quality and compassionate patient care. Track the status and progress of work among technicians that they will be leading, and make day-to-day adjustments, obtaining assistance from the supervisor on problems that may arise, such as backlogs which cannot be completed promptly. Estimate and report on expected time of completion of work and maintain records of work accomplishments and time expended and prepare production reports as requested. Provide on the job training to employees in accordance with established procedures and practices including written instructions, reference materials and supplies. Monitoring equipment and inventory, arranging for repairs or replacements weekly or more often if needed. Maintain a current knowledge to respond to questions on procedures, policies, directive
