Law Enforcement Policy Analyst

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Law enforcement (LE) policy analyst and consultant for the PFPA Office for a broad spectrum of areas ranging from national security policy, emerging doctrine and issues, organizational design, force structure and management, and congressional activities. Receives broad, general administrative guidance from the Supervisory Plans Officer and independently identifies issues to be analyzed and resolved. Performs work as a self-directed action officer while interfacing with other member of the agency headquarters. Documents Law Enforcement standards and procedures. Identifies issues of contemporary and future impact on the agency and conducts analysis of their implications and alternatives. Subject matter expert for law enforcement policies. Performs other duties as assigned.
