Supervisory Security Officer

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: The Director assists in the development of the strategic vision for the security of the Pentagon Reservation, creating and implementing long-range plans and budgetary requirements to support current and future mission needs. The Director is responsible for the day-to-day operational readiness of all division operations, providing direct oversight for the key branches that form the foundation of the agency's security posture. The Director writes, develops, and analyzes policy changes, considering second and third-order impacts on the overall security posture of the Pentagon Facilities. The Director is responsible for the management of a large interdisciplinary staff of security professionals and project managers. This includes planning and assigning work, setting priorities, and evaluating performance.
