About the role
Serves as a Benefits Administrator under general direction of the Supervisory Systems Administrator. Determines system change requirements and coordinates with system contractor to initiate system upgrades. Coordinates with Benefit vendors to develop and implement electronic data imports and exports. Responsible for developing, implementing and maintenance of the web based benefits system. Is the main point of contact for field system users to resolve system access and operational problems. Develops and provides system training to users. Provides daily guidance to systems technicians and admin clerks, insuring that all duties are performed correctly. Has the authority to assign duties to them. Ensures data from DA 3473 and DA 3434 is entered daily to the database, that incoming documentation is imaged and distributed to action offices, and benefit transactions are processed on the system which cannot be processed by field HROs on Benefits On Line.
