About the role
The selectee will serve as a Project Engineer in the Office of Training, James J. Rowley Training Center. Typical work assignments include: Overseeing the technical planning, development, and direction of construction or engineering of buildings and facilities (e.g. dormitories, classrooms, training compounds, multipurpose buildings) that support organizational initiatives. Developing schematics, charts, architectural designs, sketches, and other presentation materials detailing the planning, design, and construction of buildings and facilities. Managing construction and engineering contracting, budgets, design plans, and costs; and modifying, adapting, or validating/ invalidating technical specifications to ensure that projects are implemented efficiently and effectively. Reconciling sponsor/customer concerns, assuring that all participating parties are informed or project progress, issues, and impacts. - Serving as the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) for project
