Law Enforcement Specialist (Instructor)

The selectee will serve as a Law Enforcement Specialist (Instructor) in the Office of Training, James J Rowley Training Center. Typical work assignments include: Using a variety of advanced instructional methods (e.g., seminars, multimedia instructions, and demonstration) to instruct students in basic to advanced techniques in a law enforcement specialty area. Designing, developing, and delivering instructional materials intended for practical application such as; lesson plans, support materials, practical exercises development, and use of training areas. Researching, investigating, and analyzing a variety of performance-based data involving current employees and training students and implementing up-to-date law enforcement-based training to ensure that a professional training program is maintained. Instructing criminal investigators in basic to advanced techniques involving an area of law enforcement that is complex, constantly changing and controversial.
