Supervisory Accountant

The Supervisory Accountant is solely responsible for the day-to-day operations of the agent cashier, accounting, employee travel, and all auditing functions in the Finance Service. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manages staff reporting functions to assure required reports are accurate. Resolves accounting problems within a medical center. Develops operating procedures for technicians and support personnel. Performs the obligation and payment of purchases, contracts, and other services. Maintains appropriate general and subsidiary ledgers. Provides advice to management on document flow, payments, and problem areas. Prepares reconciliations and capitalization for real property and equipment. Provides advice to managers on accounting data and fiscal management of program operations. Communicates orally and in writing to managers, directors, and staff members. Advises program directors on special purpose reports. Performs a variety of accounting transact
