About the role
You will oversee contractor plans for complex production facilities and specialized equipment to ensure alignment with system processing requirements. You will evaluate processing requirements by reviewing technical specifications, engineering drawings, and assembly, testing, and repair plans. You will conduct feasibility and trade-off studies to determine timely, cost-effective processing methods that maintain high system quality. You will monitor contractor operations and installation activities to ensure technical compliance with approved plans and operating schedules. You will evaluate contractor requests for waivers or deviations and direct necessary revisions to maintain authorized technical boundaries. You will observe equipment performance tests, resolve identified deficiencies, and certify processing complexes upon verifying compliance. You will act as a technical authority with external organizations and industry partners to coordinate activities and resolve hardware issues.
