Health System Specialist

Serves as the Business Operations Specialist (BOS) to the assigned area of responsibility (AOR) consisting of multi-service MTFs, Guard and Reserve units, MCSC for the MHS network and remote enrolled and select beneficiaries. Performs, reviews, special analyses, studies, and evaluations of the operational requirements necessary for the integrated direct and private sector care delivery of health care. Actively participates in MCSC market operational meetings and provides policy interpretation and guidance. Assists in the identification, analysis, evaluation and monitoring of Business Plan improvement opportunities under the MHS programs. Provides guidance and advises on matters related to the implementation and operational oversight.
