HEALTH SYSTEM SPECIALIST (LABORATORY INFORMATICS)

Analyze, evaluate, advise, and coordinate healthcare delivery systems and operations in relation to the DOD (Department of Defense) and VA's EHR (Electronic Health Records) implementation. Oversee major programs, including the transition from legacy systems to MHS GENESIS, optimization of laboratory workflows, and deployment of health information technology (IT) to new laboratory facilities. Conduct research to develop and implement appropriate solutions. Lead and mentor team of professionals providing issue resolution for more than 500 global DOD (Department of Defense) laboratories. Lead coordination efforts to ensure cohesive policy implementation across the Federal healthcare space. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders ensuring effective communication.
