Safety and Occupational Health Manager

Serve as a recognized expert in the field of safety and occupational health (SOH) management developing and sustaining DHA SOH Management Systems at the Agency, Networks, and Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF) management levels. Develop safety and health policy, objectives, and programs which have national and international impact. Evaluate Agency-wide safety and occupational health program implementation and the program's effectiveness and efficiency. Provide technical guidance to all levels of management related to complex safety and health issues for activities and offices that are widely spread geographically, in the continental U.S., Europe, and Pacific regions. Investigate major and/or complex accidents. Coordinate Mishap Investigation Boards (MIBs) for Class A investigations and overseas Class B MIB process.
