About the role
As the Director, Office of Project Management, you will, Strategically directs and oversees project management policy and implementation across the Department of Energy, establishing systems and internal control standards for effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity, and framing long-term organizational objectives. Leads as the Executive Secretariat for both the Energy Systems Acquisition Advisory Board (ESAAB) and the Project Management Risk Committee (PMRC), advising the Director, Office of Management, and senior executives on critical decisions for capital asset projects exceeding $100 million in total project cost. Manages and guides inter- and intra-organizational teams in conducting comprehensive analyses, studies, and development efforts to optimize DOE's project management systems, integrating corporate management priorities and enhancing operational effectiveness. Serves as the Department's principal engineering advisor on project management and capital asset project matter
