About the role
Oversees the administration and management of the MCCS Facilities and Maintenance Division, which consists of Facilities & Maintenance Shop (to include trams), Custodial, and Gardening departments. This includes facility and maintenance repair and projects, renovations, minor construction, budgeting, contract and bid proposals, facility planning, project planning, design contracting, project administration and repair and maintenance of equipment in support of activities. Collaborates with Base Facilities and MCCS Project Planning Department to develop and execute local maintenance projects/build outs. Works with the Construction Planner and Operating Directors on interior space planning, work station layout, vehicle access, and space management. Reviews drawings and blue prints with the Construction Planner for final approval by the Operating Directors.
