About the role

These positions are seasonal Not to Exceed 1560 hours with a typical seasonal entry-on-duty period of November - June, but the season may be extended or reduced due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: Early November. Government housing may be available. Major Duties: Radio and phone communication including answering calls for emergency response Use of computer skills- Word, Excel, email, Microsoft Teams, etc... Investigation and searching- Use of NCIC, NLETS, Mark43, etc. Automated flight following, computer aided dispatching, and systems management Monitoring video and audio surveillance and security/ fire alarms Physical Demands: Incumbent must function efficiently in a confined space for extended periods with no breaks and no opportunity to leave the confines of the Communications Center.
